What the evidence shows
A 2014 review by the Repurposing Drugs in Oncology project found anticancer effects in many lab and animal studies, but the evidence in people was two case reports. The authors called for clinical trials, mainly alongside existing chemotherapy.
What to do
Not a proven cancer treatment. Don't take it except in a clinical trial or with your oncologist's agreement.
