What the evidence shows
A 2022 review found consistent lab and animal results but called the evidence in people scarce and of poor quality: mostly case reports and case series, often combined with other remedies, and one 10-person study alongside immunotherapy. It called for proper randomized trials.
What to do
Not a proven cancer treatment. Ask your oncologist before taking it, especially if you take opioid painkillers, which it blocks.
